Roelof Rossouw (born 1957) is a South African painter known for his impressionistic landscapes and genre scenes. Raised near Johannesburg, he earned a National Diploma in Art and Design in 1981. After working as a medical illustrator in Pretoria, Rossouw began exhibiting in 1988 and became a full-time artist in the early 1990s. He primarily paints in oil, also using collage and acrylic. His works often depict South African daily life—farmers, market scenes, and coastal villagers—with broad, loose brushstrokes. His paintings have appeared internationally; notably, three of his works were featured in the film Invictus, with two entering director Clint Eastwood's collection. Rossouw continues to exhibit in South Africa and abroad.
